John Lewis is currently the largest department store retailer in the UK with a growing influence online. JohnLewis.com is consistently ranked one of the top online shopping destinations in the country. In order to improve online awareness of their new ‘Collection’ clothing range for women they briefed us to shoot images and video for a series of web banners.
We produced, art directed and shot all the imagery and video over one day in our studios. The result was high quality imagery and video that fitted John Lewis’ aspirations for the brand and provided irresistible online tasters of the collection to drive sales to their ecommerce site. Within a week of the banners going live and the video featuring on their Brand Shop they had sold out of key Collection pieces.
