We’ve been designing and producing pages for the retailer’s bi-annual catalogue since 2004. Confident in our dependable, end-to-end ‘Big Book’ production skills, the retailer asked us to produce their Christmas gift guide and online/app content at the end of 2011. The Argos Christmas Gift Guide 2011 was a 272-page catalogue showcasing the retailer’s best seasonal offers and went into every store in the UK.
The artworking process was creatively directed and project managed in Manchester and part-produced in our studios in Mumbai, which enabled a fluid workflow and rapid turnaround of page-completion. Our photographic team also storyboarded and shot image and video content for the catalogue, website and new Argos App. The result was consistent campaign imagery across all channels seamlessly connecting the customer journey from catalogue to app to online.
