On the catwalk…

We're seeing more and more bookings of late for catwalk photography and video, and our clients tell us that integrating such content into their e-commerce sites has done wonders for their conversion rates.

These behind-the-scenes shots are from just one of our recent catwalk fashion shoots; we're able to install a customised, branded catwalk module in any of our five studio spaces providing a dedicated space in which to capture your products looking their best.

So far we've resisted striding down the catwalk ourselves to the beat of Right Said Fred - we're saving that for the Christmas party...

Charlotte’s Leaving Speech: Live from Mumbai!

Our CEO David Walter and MD Jayne Riley didn't let the small matter of them being 4566 miles away in our Mumbai office stop them from giving Charlotte a leaving speech this morning... complete with Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher masks no less (don't ask).

It’s a dog’s life…

Working with children and animals is a bit of an occupational hazard when you run some of the largest photographic studios outside of London, and today was no exception...

Paul, Jen, Gareth and the team have spent the morning shooting for Oscar Pet Foods with some pretty well behaved pets.

We braced ourselves (what with it being Friday the 13th and all) but aside from two cats disappearing behind the scoop all went according to plan! Here are some behind-the-scenes shots for your viewing pleasure...

PS - You'll be glad to know that both cats were later safely recovered!

Homebase Treasure Hunt

The Publications team from our client Homebase visited us up in Manchester recently for a quarterly review with a difference....

After getting the important stuff over with we took the team on a Manchester treasure hunt, starting at The Modern for Mojitos where we split into three teams - Superstars, Cops & Robbers and Pirates.

We were then sent around the streets of Manchester looking for clues - and of course stopping off at the occasional bar for refreshments.

We ended the day at the Great John Street Hotel where it was revealed that the Superstars had won, though all agreed that the Cops & Robbers won in the style stakes.

Fashion shoot for PORTER magazine…

We recently shot this series of images for PORTER magazine outside of our studios in Manchester. Thankfully the weather held off and no umbrellas were needed throughout the course of the shoot. Phew!

Model Kirstie Bennett wore items from Topshop's latest collection. You can read the latest digital edition of PORTER magazine here.

The images were shot by Kirstie McNulty with Jen Adie as Art Director.

Welcome… Holly Harvey

We're delighted to welcome Holly Harvey on board here at Photolink Creative Group.

Holly is joining our Mumbai office as Director of Business Development for our Indian operation.

A graduate of St. Andrews, Holly previously worked for the UK India Business Council, the organisation that supports the UK Government in the promotion of trade, business and investment between the two countries.

Steve Jones Photoshoot: Behind the scenes…

We thought that we'd share some exclusive behind-the-scenes images from our recent photo shoot with telly heartthrob Steve Jones... so here are a dozen for you to enjoy!

Shot on location in Buenos Aires by Simon Clark, the shoot for Shop Direct Group featured Steve wearing items from the latest menswear collection.

Steve was in Argentina filming his latest TV show, 101 Ways to Leave a Gameshow.

New blog for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance

We've recently developed this new blog for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance.

The blog will feature the latest news and updates from ten members of the AIDS Alliance team, alongside contributions from the Alliances' Latin American 'Corresponsales Claves' team and members of their citizen journalism programme, 'Key Correspondents'.

The team have been busy blogging from the XVIII International AIDS Conference in Vienna over the last week - you can read the latest updates and news from the summit here.

Brandchester

We recently shot this series of iconic images of leading Manchester-based fashion executives, together with models in their designs, for the 'brandchester' issue of Drapers magazine.

Featuring brand leaders from Gio Goi, Juice, Henleys, Corporation, Aertex, Henri-Lloyd, Gola, Umbro and Ringspun, the feature was also the cover story in the magazine.

The images were all taken at our Manchester studios by Jamie Rowan.
